This is one of the reasons I love the bright yellow glow of Goldenrod (Solidago sp.) and one of the reason I cut it back in early summer — to encourage late season flowers to help feed a multitude of pollinators. How many can you spot?

Very nice capture of visitors to the flower. Not the most common site.

They look posed. When I featured goldenrod earlier, I thought that it was a weed to everyone else.

No, definitely not posed! I have it everywhere and “edit” it to suit specific micro gardens on the property.

This is awesome! I’ve never taken the time to observe all the pollinators and nectar-eaters that frequent this harbinger of fall. Thanks for sharing.

I was surprised to see so many at the same time. Not much left to chose from I guess!
