
Meanwhile, over in Germany, Cathy at Words and Herbs is asking folks to brighten up the early December gloom by posting one or two flower photos each day for seven days. I somehow missed day one, but for day two here’s a Datura volunteer that showed up in my herb garden this past summer.

That was a lovely highlight for your herb garden. Nice of it to show up out of nowhere. ๐

I never see a datura without thinking of Georgia O’Keeffe’s paintings of her jimson weeds.
